Angel was a once in a lifetime dog. She was WB, BOW and Best Breed By Exhibitor at DCA Specialty in 1991. This is a breeders dream. In 1992 Angel was BOV four (4) of the five (5) days of specialties DCA week. To make things even better she was Best of Breed three (3) of those specialties. One of these being DCA. This was such an honor as she was the first Wirehaired Dachshund Bitch to go Best of Breed at The DCA Specialty in 100 years. Angel went on to win BOV and BOB at numerous other specialties in 1992. She was a joy to show and was my best friend. To prove that she wasn't just a pretty face she acquired her Certificate of Good Citizenship with only four days of training.
